FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Metro Vancouver homeowners will soon be able to see German-manufactured Bauformat cabinetry in person at 1420 Marine Drive. The showroom is being rebuilt around the line and the first kitchens open to the public in September.
NORTH VANCOUVER, BC, August 17, 2026 Metro Vancouver homeowners planning a kitchen will soon be able to see German-manufactured Bauformat cabinetry in person at Canadian Home Style, 1420 Marine Drive in North Vancouver. The showroom is being rebuilt around the line, and the first Bauformat kitchens open to the public in September.
Bauformat cabinets are built in Germany by a family manufacturer operating since 1917. Floor space at the North Vancouver showroom is being reconfigured so homeowners can open doors and drawers, compare finishes side by side, and see full runs rather than sample panels.
“Homeowners kept telling us the same thing,” said Soheil Jalali of Canadian Home Style. “They wanted German cabinetry, and they wanted someone local to stand behind it. Buying a kitchen from overseas and hoping it all comes together is not a plan. In September they will be able to open the drawers, feel the hinges, and deal with a company that has been on Marine Drive for decades.”
There has been a flooring and cabinetry business at 1420 Marine Drive since 1985. Canadian Home Style works across North Vancouver, Vancouver, Burnaby, West Vancouver and the wider Lower Mainland in flooring, kitchen cabinetry and full kitchen and bathroom renovations, and is a six-time Consumer Choice Award winner.
Design consultations can be booked at canadianhomestyle.com or by phone. The showroom stays open through the renovation.
